67kg this morning, though that is up from 64kg in May before Cape Wrath. When I hit 63kg after Cape Wrath, even though I wasn’t doing much exercise, I made an effort to eat a little more as that was unsustainable. I’ll try to keep it around 66-68kg.
Double whammy of going back over 13 stone and 80 kg.
December Month = Gain of 7.4 lbs / 3.4kg
Although, in fairness, this is a fair reflection of the combination of work stress, fighting a bug of some sort, not exercising enough and eating and drinking too much.
The only good news is I know January will be better and I’ve been on this ‘rollercoaster’ since my personal worst on 01/01/19 – 14st 8.6lbs / 92.8kg – BF 34.2%
I’d suggest a group hug, but we might break the racing snakes.
I’ll take that, as I think I topped 75 for the first time ever this time last year. Especially as I barely did any exercise last December for various reasons. Didn’t go crazy on food, but wasn’t exactly holding back. Didn’t drink much either.
Goal will be to hover between 71-73 for the next few months, then try to nudge it down to 70 for Wales in Sept. I’m not going to go crazy on calorie restriction or anything whilst training for an IM. But I’ll have a think about cutting out the crap for a month or two. Stuff like crisps and biscuits. Minimal alcohol. But we’ll see. I can race fine at 72, so no big deal.
no apart from underwater/air displacement weighing which is good but not as good as DEXA and equally unavailable at the local gym
but as a guide as long as you get up first thing and before you drink or eat anything weight yourself, then you can track a trend. most are influenced by hydration and immediate activity levels so keeping that similar is key
