2024/2025 weigh in thread

107.1kg & 34.5%
Almost exactly the same calories & exercise as last week, one week it goes up by a kg, one week it goes down

Height = 5’ 7.5” / 1.71m

The good news is that I made great progress after my wife’s niece and kids left us.

24/08/24 - 11st 4.6lbs / 71.9 kg – Which is my lowest weight in a very long time. :sunglasses:

The bad news is that was all undone when her brother arrived for a week at the end of August.
(In 8 days, we ate out 4 times + 1 BBQ, plus  on 7/8 days! :astonished: )

01/09/24 - 11st 7.2lbs / 73.1 kg

August Month = Gain of 0.6 lbs / 0.3 kg

Still, in other good news, my 32” waist shorts now fit and I haven’t worn them in years either.

Even a vaguely normal September short see me back on track.

Cheers, Paul.

I have not really been checking in here, but still on the path.
Hit 89KG this morning, combination of Macro counting and increased cycling volume.
Lots of peaks and troughs however and a full month on a Plateau at 92KG
Missed my target by a long way however now pressing for 79kg by the end of the year.

However on the positive side I am no longer in the the Obese category, I am now merely fat.

79kg would put me in Normal.

01/10/24 - 11st 6.2lbs / 72.7 kg

September Month = Loss of 1.0 lbs / 0.5 kg

2024 YTD = Loss of 16.2 lbs / 7.3 kg :sunglasses:

Since 01/01/19 (Personal Worst) = 3st 2.4lbs / 20.1kg! :astonished:

Short Term - I am still eating & drinking too much and exercising too little.

Long Term – I am slowly getting closer to an ideal/sustainable weight. :crossed_fingers:

Good News - My bespoke wedding suit (1997) now fits for the first time in a VERY LONG time. :sunglasses:

Cheers, Paul.

I’m heading in the wrong direction :pensive: :worried:

Lost 4½lb in October… put it all back on in the first two weeks of November (plus some)

Fark - back from holiday and hit 75kg for the first time this year

Right - on it until Christmas (with an exception of a weekend away in that London for Mrs T’s birthday)

November 2024 YTD = Loss of 11.6 lbs / 5.3 kg

Whilst it is disappointing to see my weight going in the wrong direction, it isn’t a surprise.
(As increased stress levels lead me to the unholy trinity of beer, crisps & chocolate. :pig: )

Thankfully, despite these ‘bumps in the road’, my overall journey is on the right track. :sunglasses:

I’ll try to limit the damage that the social side of December usually brings and stay positive.

Cheers, Paul.

Probably my 4th time getting to this stage…
Checked my graph this morning and it’s in the right direction again.

Going the right way !
Nice work.

69.5 kgs.

Less training last week too, some people take the piss out of my semi vegan diet but it’s quite easy to maintain weight on it.

Heading in the right direction after coming back from holiday

By some miracle I have managed to resist the packet of dark chocolate digestives that Mrs T bought for the builders doing our bathroom (but don’t leave it too long lads)

Heading back in the right direction.
I need a Xmas strategy to keep the momentum going!

Gone up to 78.2kg after being 76.5kg after a few days of illness in mid December.

Very little exercise at the moment, I daren’t look at my Strava fitness score!

I started back on 16-8 yesterday.

88.8kg enough to get me out in the bike in the freezing fog. Cutting back on training to focus on diet has not worked for me. Will try to outrun my belly next.

87.1kg this morning so could be worse, could be better. To my shame I’ve not been monitoring blood pressure since it seemed to stabilise as “high normal” over the first half of ‘24. I should be doing a monthly check in at least.

Same. Mine was down to normal but then I slipped back into bad habits and stopped checking. The doctors only ask for a reading annually.

Will do one this week.

As for weight I dont think its changed all yese, except maybe increased slightly

My weight graph is like the opposite of my training hours graph.

Weight shot up on holiday and never came back down.

Day 4 of addressing this…

Slightly up over a month

Slightly down over 3 months
