Used my weight app paired to the scales this morning - last used April 2024 when I was 69.8
The app asked me if it was the same person being weighed due to the 3.4kg difference - cheeky b-:tard

At least it didn’t say “One at a time please”
Another Roller Coaster year for me.
Height = 5’ 7.5” / 1.71m
01/01/24 - 12st 8.4lbs / 80.0kg
24/08/24 - 11st 4.6lbs / 71.9 kg - My lowest weight in well over 10 years!
01/12/24 - 11st 10.8lbs / 74.8kg
01/01/25 - 11st 12.8lbs / 75.7kg
December Month = Gain of 2.0 lbs / 0.9 kg
December could have been worse, so I’m glad I scraped in just under 12 stone.
2024 Year = Loss of 9.6 lbs / 4.4 kg
Overall, despite the poor last few months, 2024 was still another step in the right direction.
Cheers, Paul.
So got through Xmas reasonably unscathed…
For 2025 I’ve decided I’ll get a motorcycle ( sold mine in 2008) when I can fit into my old jacket and trousers…
Finished the year on 93, not super happy with this but still, it was progress.
Will be pushing for that mythical 79kg in the first half of 2025
Just weighed myself for the first time in god knows how long.
Sat at 74.5 which is as good as I could have expected. I tipped over 75 last Christmas for the first time ever, but I’d say I’m even less active this winter break.
Hopefully I can pause there now that routine and normality kicks in.
69.2 New Year’s Eve morning.
After five days in bed I’ll be happy with 73-74 ish after the weekend.
Will get around to weighing myself on Monday, I’m too scared currently
70.1 kg this morning, surprised it’s not more after everything that’s been shovelled into my face over the last 2 weeks.
A good number 2 should get things back into the 60s.
I did, frankly shocked. Wasn’t too bad over the holidays but it’s crept up and I’m near my all time high again.
5kg to lose urgently and then 2-3kg more after that to get closer to where I’d like to be. I’'m using Lose It to calorie count, works better than MFP.
Time to start taking this seriously again. Was 122.2kg a couple of weeks ago, 118.8 a few days after quitting booze (bloat, always drop a chunk) now 117.7kg, although my waist has dropped 2cm. Was hoping to have lost more but I think I lose some water bloat from the booze, then I start lifting weights and then get water and stuff pulled into the muscles and that adds a little.
Aiming for about ~ 100kg by the time cricket season starts. If I can get down to that and also be close to squatting 100kg by then it should help massively with my bowling. Didnt play every game last year partly because of time but partly because I couldnt handle bowling each week
Haven’t been to the gym since November and grabbing food whenever I can hide from the puppy long enough to eat it in peace (the food not the puppy)
Starting point for the year:
104.4kg & 33.5%
Planning to go to gym today and tomorrow which will be benchmark sessions to see where I am strength wise, and take it from there.
84kg - bugger, work to do, heaviest I’ve been for a long time.
So was a bit worried, and a month of little to no training due to the chest infection means I’m over 100kg for the first time in a while
101.8
hopefully in a couple of weeks that will be back in 2 figures
116.1kg this morning, down 1.6kg. 1cm off my stomach as well.
Happy with that.
One benefit of living alone is I can eat what I want and if I want and dont have any external influences on my diet. On a strict gym bro diet. Cheese and pepper omelette for breakfast, chicken salad for lunch, chicken and veg for tea. Protein shakes and fruit/nuts for snacks. Double chicken breasts at lunch an dinner.
Hoping to be < 112kg at end of Jan. Thats a pretty big drop still but Im still carry a lot of excess weight so should be doable. At that point it will start to slow a bit I think
70.4?
Expecting much heavier ?!
Dry January perhaps.
Day 9
Down 1kg from this time last week
I can’t be arsed with dry January - I won’t drink during the week but if I fancy a beer on the weekend illl go for it.
I have noticed though my head is always a bit groggy in the morning after drinking even small amounts. I had two glasses of red wine last night and was feeling it.
I mean most wine these days is around 14% and I typically drink wanky ipas that can be anywhere from 5-8% - only one if they’re the strong buggers though.
With all the free time I have and booze is cheap too I felt that I was drinking “ more”
I’m not going teetotal but a month off it …
Been 8 days so far ( feel really good apart from back niggle!)
See how we go.
