Another thread I’ve been slow to update…

Height = 5’ 7.5” / 1.71m

01/01/25 - 11st 12.8lbs / 75.7kg

01/02/25 - 11st 8.2lbs / 73.6kg

Early Feb - 11st 6.4lbs / 72.8kg

01/03/25 - 11st 11.8lbs / 75.2kg

01/04/25 - 11st 8.2lbs / 73.6kg

I’m going to call 2025 a bit of a rollercoaster so far. :roll_eyes:

At least my bad months have remained under 12 stone. < Touch Wood >

Especially compared to my personal worst of 14st 8.6lbs / 92.8kg on 01/01/19.

Hopefully, I can get a better balance of food & drink vs. training in April. :crossed_fingers:

Cheers, Paul. :slight_smile:

I need to get control back on my weight and exercise. I actually gave myself a stomach ache yesterday from the sheer amount of sugar I was eating, most of it without thinking. Anyway, weigh in this morning was 78.5kg, 3.5kg up on my last weigh-in in March.

67,7 kgs
Holding a lower weight than … ever really.

It’s not the phys, only did 10.5 hours last week and week after a race there was nowt hard there.

I guess the vegan diet helps, no burgers, chocolate, cheese and all those saturated fat/ sugars treats …who knew!

Now 79.1kgs. :person_facepalming:t2: just eating too much rubbish and not moving enough. Must do better.

Went passed a scales at the gym today at our holiday apartment. Decided to step on.

75.6 kgs. Not a great number for me, but to be expected with the lack of exercise this year. Could’ve been worse though.

In the 71’s now which is about where I was hoping to be

Have agreed with Mrs T that no booze for a couple of months until we have been to the Alps for our little run there - managed a week so far

Another belated weigh in from me…

Height = 5’ 7.5” / 1.71m

Last Update - 01/04/25 - 11st 8.2lbs / 73.6kg

01/05/25 – 11st 8.0lbs / 73.6kg

01/06/25 – 11st 11.4lbs / 75.0kg = Gain of 3.4 lbs / 1.5 kg :frowning:

Way too much rubbish being consumed at the moment, must try harder.

Haven’t posted since the end of March when I was trying a bit of a mild bulk at the gym. Since then I’ve been in a bit more of a cutting phase for the summer helped by going away in the camper with the dog for the first time and couldn’t eat properly for a few days after having a tooth out.

Today 100.3kg & 31.1%
I’m in danger of having a two digit weight for the first time since, god knows when. I’ll stick with this and see how low I get over the summer and then maybe try and bulk up a bit again come the autumn/winter.

Spent the last week eating 3 curries per day and drinking Lion beer every evening :pig_face:

Surprised to see the number on the work scales still starting with a 6, just…

69.9kg

The jack fruit masala with coconut rice was just fantastic :pig_face: :pig_face: but quite hot so required a lot of lion to put out the flames

100 mile event plus 55km in the Alps brings me to my lowest weight this year

Height = 5’ 7.5” / 1.71m

01/06/25 – 11st 11.4lbs / 75.0kg

01/07/25 – 11st 8.0lbs / 73.5kg = Loss of 3.4 lbs / 1.5 kg

Whilst I’d like to be a bit lighter, at least my current weight is being re-distributed a bit.

As I had to drill another hole in a couple of my belts.

Which means my waist is now 6 inches / 15 cms thinner than my 01/01/19 worst. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Still need to do a better job of balancing my training vs. my eating & drinking. :roll_eyes:

Cheers, Paul. :slight_smile:

July Month - Loss of 1.8 lbs / 0.8 kg - Not much, but I’ll take it.

Since Personal Worst (01/01/19) – Loss of 3st 2.4lbs / 20.1 kg :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

I think I’ve reached the point where any further drops are going to be harder to achieve.

Well, unless I can finally break my stupid snacking habits once and for all. :roll_eyes:

thought Id check in as I have been a bit focussed. I was hovering around 99kg for sometime, but nothing shifted it. Started creatine in about March after all the “advice” and shot up to 103.3 and suffering with cramps, stomach cramps and pains (When i played football in county league our coaches made us use it then and , whilst the taste is far better these days, ie none, i got same side effects). So after a few months I cut it out again at end of May. By mid June Id lost most of the water weight and was at 101.9, and went to Spain 2nd July at 100.9, return a week later and weighed 98.5kg (always lose weight of hols even with added alcohol and ice cream, I guess its extra movement and less snacking as we are busy, not sitting at home in front of a laptop all day!). end of July I was 97.6 and steady from then to today being at 95.9, first time with a 5 since i lost weight over Covid and ended up “racing weight” of 89.*.

What did I change, really cut the chocolate, might have a bit once a week if I’m lucky

cut the snacks a bit, i used to eat a cheese wrap or sandwich at 9pm , now i only have it if I havent had dinner

no alcohol, except the random glass of wine (didnt drink much anyway so no real change)

protein shake for breakfast 2 scoops so between 40 and 50g for just 200 or so calories. I am filled until lunch, but may eat some greek yoghurt as an 11’s though with berries or a few nuts if I swim before lunch

make sure i eat proper lunch and dinner

nothing groundbreaking really except making sure protein is high enough
