I had 1 pack of sis beta fuel up each sleeve and had them at the feed stations for coniston so i could throw the wrappers in the boat but no problem to stuff back up sleeve. For the 8k i also had some of thier jelly babies at the last feed boat but would have preferred another sis. I also didnt then have to run ! Sounds like a great event, have fun.
You can do the swim only of this event you know
I don’t know what I’d struggle with more out of both disciplines at the moment!
Which is a shame, a few years ago it would be right up my strasse!
Trackers ready for tomorrow,
Funkster
Mr Me
Chickenboy
Anymore?
Thanks @jeffb
I’ve been a bit quiet (even more so than normal) this year. Just lots of life stuff taking up time - still try to check in regularly to have a read tho.
Yep, back in Copenhagen (I love this place) for a second crack of the whip.
Bumped into @chickenboy twice already (he’s staying round the corner) so hoping to sit on his feet for about 100m or so of the swim
Best of luck in Frankfurt @funkster
Good luck lads. You’ll be halfway through the bike by the time it takes me to get up and dressed tomorrow morning. Legends all of you.
Both guys in Copenhagen right with each other, Matthew just up the road but with Dave leading M55!
Funkster is similarly about 70km through the bike too
KB did a 46 minute non wetsuit swim! Although most of his ITU races are non wetsuit I think?
Who is racing Copenhagen? I have the app now on my phone, following our friend (Ali Longman)
Mr Me & Chickenboy, Evans & Mantle
Cheers Jeff
Do we have a number for @funkster ? I’ve managed to find the other two
2002
Thanks
I think MrME will be a weapon on the run - looking forward to what he does!
He’s started off super fast running 4:11/km
Mr Me on sub 9 pace
Wow!
He’s flying!
What’s happened to Chickboy? App saying it doesn’t know where he is?
