Good luck
Eat of luck @FatPom
The food of champions. Possibly.
Enjoy FP, hope.it goes well for you
Got me looking! Friend was looking for a similar fitness idea to try and get fit again. He’s always dreamed of a Spartan/tough mudder race (although can’t run).
Sent and he’s agreeing looks ideal, but now realised Edinburgh and Birmingham both full, and busy for the the Macclesfield date in September
Just entered the Cotswold classic (July race)! Might see a few of you there. If I can get my arse into gear I might see how close to sub 5 I’ll be!
Will also enter our clubs 70.3 distance which is the Saturday after when I get round to it.
Balls to it. Entered.
Spurred on by @jeffb , have just entered Cots Classic V2.0 middle distance on 13th July.
Maybe a little premature here as:
- don’t know if I’ll be in UK
- don’t know if I’ll have a working bike
- don’t know if I’ll be able to run 21km
Ah well.
Unfinished business there & will be gunning for sub 5 all the way
I looked at the Cotswold 113 site and there is a bike/run event as well. No other detail is available but could be a laugh
Or you could crack out the armbands
I hadn’t seen that but with your biking and running you’d be rapid! Wonder if it’s a TT type start to avoid a group together?
Sandbagging has started
We need buzz or tupps to recce the bike course for us to get an idea of surface and ascent.
Erm, anyone in M55
round there it’s halfway between West country and posh I think
I have messaged113 for more info on the bike/run event before I announce a road trip. Would be good fun if I can stay in shape.
Fantastic news and seeing what the weather like I salute you.
Great effort @FatPom
You have earned a slap up Sunday dinner after that
Me too! We went for the Middlesbrough one in May. I was actually hoping to do the night time 300km ride Jeff posted for that weekend, but this is probably a welcome escape instead!
Fantastic !
Well done !!
Well done FP
This is brilliant news FP, that huge smile says it all…congratulations
