Yeah, I paid to join xpoints and signed up for the half last year, still zero luck in the ballot. It’s a race I’d have loved to do but am kind of done paying to enter the ballot each year. I doubt I’ll bother in future.

Don’t know if it’s already posted somewhere on here, but Ironman Wales date for 2026 is Sunday 13th September, so a week earlier than this year. Entries open Thursday 25th September 2025

Steel man
A grass-roots middle-distance triathlon at Ellerton Lake & surrounding countryside. Features a 1.2mi (5km) swim, 58mi (93km) bike with moderate elevation, and 20km run. Friendly, well-supported and accessible.
That 5km swim should sort the wheat from the chaff
