Also instead of a second middle + the iron at Roadford Lake, Sportiva Events are bringing back Wimbleball instead, as both a half & the Full iron. .

Only Ā£120 & Ā£220 early bird rates til end Nov.

I never did the MDot 70.3 at Wimbleball :man_shrugging: , but for 2016 only there was an independent Half and a Full, X-Man, (later XXX-Man after Marvel threatened to sue them :money_mouth_face:) . Hilly Bike route included Porlock, it was fab. Sadly these new organisers stopped doing events entirely after the first year.:man_shrugging:

(So Iā€™ll probably never do a full Iron at Roadford as last yearā€™s Sportiva was likely a one-off, and it clashed with GeordieMan.)

Vitruvian & Eastbourne Half IM dates confirmed too

Iā€™m going to have my first bash at Kielder Iron aka The Northumbrian. It was a choice of that or IM France :money_mouth_face: in Nice. Hmm, :thinking: choices, choices: The hypothermia inducing waters of Kielder after camping in a midge infested tent, or the stunning French Riviera? :beach_with_umbrella: ā€¦.It was a tough choice :man_facepalming: :sweat_smile:

A New Challenge Awaits ā€” Introducing the Outlaw Middle

Weā€™re excited to announce a brand-new event for 2026, the Outlaw Middle, joining the Outlaw Original weekend at Holme Pierrepont Country Park, Nottingham, on Sunday 26 July 2026.

The Outlaw Middle is the UKā€™s newest middle-distance triathlon, offering a flat and fast course through the heart of Nottingham, alongside the incredible atmosphere of our full-distance event. Itā€™s an incredible opportunity to experience the iconic orange carpet and crowd support that make Outlaw so special.

Open to athletes of all abilities, the Outlaw Middle features extended cut-off times, making it ideal for both first-time triathletes and those chasing a personal best. Entries will be very limited for the first year due to the nature of the event, so early entry is strongly advised

Yeah, Ironman do it on quite a few races like Portugal, Italy, Nice and others so makes sense.

Hopefully wonā€™t clash with Leeds either.
