- UMUK (UltraMan UK), usually at Bala, N.Wales/Snowdonia. Day 1 usually a 10 km sw1m, followed by a 70-90 ish mile bike? Day 2 rest of the bike to make it a total 261 mile ish distance. Day 3 Double marathon 52 miles. The sooner you finish each day, the more neutralised/sleep time you get, like a 3-Day stage race.

That’s not the “prep” needed for a white bloke over 50 to do that.
The “prep” needed for that is simple;
“Altitude” camps in a country with relaxed attitudes to “aging clinics”
Copious amounts of “beetroot” extract
Learn how to draft.

‘Portmanteau’
Looks like this is confirmed, 3-5 September 2027.
“No entry fees”, but relying on crowd funding. Hoping for >20 athletes donating £1000 to cover event costs. Refunds April 2027 if haven’t hit numbers.
I find UM an interesting format I’d like to tackle one day, but it needs bigger numbers and support to be viable.

I couldn’t believe it. Espesh as I’d already deferred 2025 Outlaw and couldn’t do so again.
In fact the new IML date is perfect, there was nowt else on that w/end. whoohoo.
