Those are pretty impressive km splits, considering the accumulation already in your legs.

XMAS ADVENT CALENDAR RUN DAY 24 - 24km run. 300km total running and so I thought I’d earned a quick pint of Guinness for rehydration. Out along the old Keswick railway, up to the Castlerigg Stone Circle, several laps of the stones to hit half way then back through town with a bit of Bob Graham thrown in at the end. Garmin has me at ‘maintaining’ and recommends increasing my training volume! Very windy, wet and cold up at Castlerigg, but worth the climb. Have a fab Christmas everyone.

I did think about it - indeed was planning to. But I managed to fall off a bar stool onto a stone floor and am in discomfort several weeks later. It feels like I’ve fractured something

Not the advent calendar running but would be a day ahead just on normal daily averages, and a day off…
The thing that is easy to forget about these things is, a day ill or absolutely shit weather makes it extra hard… that makes completing it much more impressive.
