Was enough to go from taking photos of an approaching fire.
To actually going somewhere else where the fire wasn’t!

It started to die out by 13.00, although it’s still going further along the ridge even now. They’ve had an aeroplane and now a helicopter dumping water. Obvs the Helo can refill much quicker from the sea.
The houses under threat earlier…

Wow @Jorgan that looks pretty scary.
I still can’t get over how pretty the Med looks. Not had a hotel view this good before. Also think my daughter is part fish. She goes in the water in the morning, break for lunch and she’d probably go back in until dinner.

It’s a shame that is the closest coast. By my reckoning, you don’t get any decent beaches/coves until Combe Martin? Subjective I know.
