Yeah - you can’t really press the screen after the swim, with wet hands.
It does do a triathlon/multisport mode, but the watch face and your hands need to be bone dry.

Didn’t Garmin make that mistake with a high-end Edge model a few years back…
That’s not my experience - roll the dial as you’re getting up, then as you leave the water tap the screen. It takes some getting used to.

Half distance yes, Full no. Use the Watch for all training, on race day for swim and run, bike comp for the bike.

Only had it a week, so getting used to it still.
I am really enjoying just wearing one watch and not having to bother with the HR strap when I’m doing easy stuff
