I’m really surprised how they keep talking about cupping and how they hadn’t heard of it and talk like it’s new.

Exactly. My opinion of him is this. It’s phenomenal what he’s achieved in his discipline. But the attention he’s had has gone to his head and out of proportion in relation to that. Because UK hasn’t had many swimming success stories in the realm of Phelps they’ve jumped on him. He needs perspective. Out of the swimming world - no one really gives a fuck about Adam Peaty - he’s a bloke who can swim a 100m really fast in a stroke that no one gives a stuff about. It’s niche. If the BBC didn’t chant his name so frequently no would would really care. Feel free to pile on lol
