I did a MTB race at Cannock Chase once, years ago. It was bloody tough! Crowds were rather smaller though

Cannock chase has turned into a pretty decent MTB “park”. It’s obviously not Llandegla but it’s doing ok for itself.
Mr and I have a wager on how many people Evie will lap before she finishes. I know she’s been injured but she’s still a great racer.

Pretty normal in Olympics for 100m to be early, London was day 3. Also always have early 10k late 5k so athletes can do both
