If it’s an actual tourer, then get some Radonneur tyres slapped on, some thick butyl tubes and Stans Slime. You could even duct tape the inside of the tyre.
Then report back in 5-10 years when the tyres are bald and you’ve not had another puncture

Have these but no slime.
Is that like tubeless but inside tubes then?
You could also buy some Tannus Armour inserts.
So even you do puncture, you can keep riding for a while
These are made solely for tubes.
Why are you so close to the kerb bruv?
Ride where the car near side tyre is.
Move out to the middle if you feel they’re going to overtake and not give you space.
I think those cameras make people more aggy.
Same with dashcams.
Not normally that far over - dunno why I was other than a mild incompetence for not clipping in first time.
Camera looks like a light; I didnt even know he was coming through that close so I’m not changing my behaviour because of it. I rarely report anything, I don’t go looking for issues.
I’m the victim here
Woman threw her phone at my throat this evening.
One of those weird things where people seem to spontaneously lose all coordination and throw their phones for no apparent reason(!)
Do you know said woman?
I was commuting, in a cycle lane, a juggernaut had just passed me.
She picked it up out of the cycle lane after I’d dodged it while airborne!
That’s absolutely wild. Threw her phone!
I’ve never had anyone throw a phone at me, but I have had someone step out in front of me phone first.
I just about managed to avoid them but caught the phone, which ended up on the floor and under a van
Well done sir.
It’s Wacky Races on the cycle lanes at the moment with the hot weather. Absolute mayhem with people taking to bikes to avoid the best on the Tube and buses. There seems to be more traffic than usual too, so maybe people are opting for their air conditioned cars over public transport?
My commute briefly intersects with the CS2 route (basically following the Northern Line through Tooting and Clapham to the City) and there must have been 50+ riders waiting for one set of lights to change
Just like the good ol days (or certainly pre Covid)
Have to say I do miss the commute into the city each day
I’ve been cycle commuting in London for 25 years and I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many cyclists as there are this week. I don’t know whether people are going to the office to enjoy the air con?
The one-way cycle lanes aren’t too bad, but the two way lanes are terrifying
I’m going home via the Woolwich foot tunnel these days, avoids all the pinch points adds maybe five or ten minutes
Hope no one throws their phone at me this time though, obvs
Along the Embankment. How are we not dead?
Luckily I’m rarely over that way.
For me it’s between Parliament Square and Hyde Park Corner.
Throw in some random tourists wandering around in the bike lane by Buckingham Palace for added excitement
Friday morning and there seemed to be significantly more traffic than for the rest of the week but probably less than 20% of the cyclists
I guess people don’t cycle to work on a Friday regardless of the weather
