Having a bit of FOMO here!! It’s ~250 miles each way though so would need to be there a few days to justify it, and then in Holland about 4 weeks later, followed by UTMB!
** all assumes I actually get rid of this injury and train a bit

@jeffb I didn’t even look how far away it was.
And I also can’t really run right now. Biking also hurts… And my shoulder always hurts swimming.
But I’ll worry about that next year
I think we both need shooting
Glue
I’m in too. Cotswold Classic 10/7/22, just entered
Mentioned it to Mrs GB last week and she seemed pretty unconcerned by it.
Severley tempted for a bit of a TT mashup. But also wondering whether i should go find another race, as i’ve done this twice now. But i do like it. Good mix of not too big, not too small. Pretty close. Decent enough course (if i go the right way) and maybe reset expectations on how slow the run course is.
You’ve done it twice, but weren’t they different bike courses?
For 2 different reasons, yes! haha
And only one swim!
But secretly you want to crush us all
This can become your Outlaw
But he’s just not good enough, that’s why he’s looking elsewhere
This is very, very true!
Cmon - get involved
Competitor email came out today. I assume it has to be a TriTalk mass start?!
For the last couple of year’s, we moved away from several mass starts for each eave to a rolling start format.
This was very popular with the majority, but there still was a minority that wanted to do a mass start so they could tell exactly who they were racing against, and not wonder if the person in front of them on the run course was actually 5 mins behind them etc.
In order to try and cater for both sides of the argument, what we’re going to trial in June is as follows :
Wave 1 - Mass start with limited numbers
Waves 2 Onwards will be rolling starts whereby you get a 10minute window in which you can start, and your start time will be at the point in which you cross the timing mat into the lake.
Sounds like a good idea
Oh. Crud. I’ve not entered this yet
Dont worry, I have entered it, but not started training for it yet
don’t worry, I’ve not either.
Don’t worry, I have entered it but still can’t even walk propely yet
I’ve both entered and I’ve done some training but likely to still be a very long way back in the standings
