Critique my position/bike/thighs

I’ve got an ISM P3 something one which everyone seemed to recommend which I’ve used about 3 times and hated it. Wouldn’t be free but not full price for sure. I know really selling it aren’t I!

Cheers both. I’ll have a think and see if I get any more settled on this one first, try to save a few quids!

Eyeball assessment, the position looks good. Round shoulders in for the fast downhill bits if you can for more aero.

Have you tried the high sided elbow cups? Not a position thing but makes it more comfortable and more to anchor you in and stabilise the front end.

Any recommendations for which ones to go for?

There are a few to choose from:

Kismet, Wattshop, Aerocoach for example.

I have a pair of aerocoach and they’ve been fine. I know @stenard had a pair and they broke on him though

Position looks okay - but is that your actual cadence?
That looks quite slow to me.
Could alter when you go a bit faster leg turnover - but like others have said, try it out on the road and see what it feels like

Finally had a photographer on my local 10 last night quite happy with the set up now but never had a chance to see it during a ride. Open to improvements/comments

Looks fantastic, super aero and aggressive. Out of interest, how long can you hold that position and did you have a professional fit?

I can ride all day in this position (literally) I have done a 50m TT in this position and my weekend turbo sessions are 3 hours in this set up. I used to be lower but had the usual visibility issues but increasing the stack height by 15mm made a huge difference. I was a fitted by another TT rider who now works for Specialized supporting their sponsored riders/teams and the Trinity racing team. It’s his job to fit and adapt the bikes for them. I have Anna van der Breggen’s old power meter on my bike after they updated the Quark PMs

I think it’s a continuous cycle of improvements that you pick up off other riders. The feedback on the fit for @gingerbongo was useful and not bitchy as per other sites

That’s a great position, you must have a lot of flexibility.

The bike is a good fit as well

Even tho I’m unlikely to start tinkering at this point… And ideally I’d like a new bike or at least cockpit this is where I’m at.
Caveats.
No idea why my helmet suddenly wants to tilt to one side these last few weeks.
I can’t get my arms closer together without feeling like I’m wrecking my shoulder. Tho I can probably turn the bars in at the top a little more to bring the hands closer (no di2 tho, so still need room for shifters to move).
Crank is 175 and I think a real limitor in changing position.

Re: twisting the bars in. Be careful how far you go. I tried this and it gave me real problems with my wrists being at an unnatural angle. Better imo to aim for a more neutral hand/wrist position.

From my perspective the position looks good based on what you said. Like @wheezy said I would keep the wrists natural as you can develop problems from being in an unnatural position.
My only comment would be to have a look for some 30/40 degree use bars that would bring hands up higher without the need to use wedges based on the profile base bar and pads
