Yeah that’s not even in the same neighbourhood as ‘6mths free’. Is it retrospective? I’ve already entered IM Wales. Was thinking about firing up Zwift and have taken 21 of my free 25kms lately but it’s a good while since I paid. Is it now £16 p/m? That’s pretty salty TBH.

Zwift I believe is £12.99 a month - and those 25kms will reset each month. Not that they go that far!

Cheers. I should look it up but I bumped into our CC chairman yesterday and said something about it being £16 if you have been on it for ages or are new :man_shrugging:

There are so many good workouts on YT now and I have a tv in the garage with Netflix that I’m already paying for, so I am questioning the worth. I can use the free Elite app to see my power.

Has anyone got the new EnglandArhletics code for sportshoes? The last one emailed to me expired on 4th Nov

Free delivery is what I’m after as the good are dirt cheap already :flushed:

Given that wording, it’s lucky it’s not 18 months for the price of 12.

Is the course sim good? Does it give real roadside views so you could recognise where you are when riding for real?

Does Rouvy have IM courses too? RGT lets you put .fit files in, but won’t give realistic roadside views, just gradient sims.

The bolded part isn’t the interesting thing there for me, that’s just std shitty renewal tactics. The interesting thing is ’ new annual subscription’.

So if you’re already a FG member and sign up to an IM, you’re SOL?

Looks good from I saw on the Frankfurt course.

As you’d expect, it’s recorded by some dude who gets stuck in trafffic occasionally so there are a few blips. Not used it enough to compare to Rouvy yet.

Yeah. Staffs was good :clap:t3:
You get ZERO idea of the gradient and road surface, though.

I think everything’s gone to FulGaz now?

I did an hour of IM Wales in a week free trial. Quite liked it. Bit glitchy, but was good to familiarise myself with the roads again. Hard to see gradients for real, but good for visual markers etc.

Nicked off hotukdeals but if anybody needs a groupset upgrade or spares, this is a brilliant price for 105, there’s a hydraulic disk option for £500 as well.

Been looking at bikes and groupset son ebay for the few nights.

That is cheap !

That GCN programme says the new 105 is better than dura ace 2-3 years ago due to trickle down tech

Well I went for it, cheers @jeffb.

I’ll put it on my beloved 12yr old BMC over the winter & I’ll then have some spares to use on my turbo bike & commuter as reqd.

Nice buy.

Fenix solar in sportspursuit for £349

Annoyingly they had the 935 tri bundle for 279 which I’d have been tempted by as my fr245 battery is starting to fade as its now coming up on 3 years old.

Black Friday coming up and some places are starting to discount them already.

Garmin US have knocked $100 off the Epix :grimacing:

I know. :grimacing:

Trouble is I only have the budget for 1 BF purchase and I’ve been tracking some sound cancelling Sennheiser headphones for a couple of months now. So I was pretty set on waiting for the to hit the sale and then getting them as a Xmas present for myself/from my wife.

She wants a new step/fitness tracker thing. So I need to do some research ready for BF on which one to buy as her older fitbit is a pile of crap.

But then just last night I started thinking about a new watch! :man_facepalming:t3: But that’s gonna have to be an either job I think.

Do I need the new watch. Really? Probably not. Mine should easily last another year.

Plus, with all of the previous metals inside, think about the soil damage caused in the production of that watch :+1:t3:

In fact, you are single handedly saving the planet in not buying that watch.

Greta would be proud.
