Virgin are NAFF
In our last place, guy turned up stoned, drilled from outside → inside (after I’d told him not to, as it’d blow the new plaster) and blew the new plaster.
The cable from the street through the garden was crap.
He complained about having to run it round the side of the house, as I didn’t want it in the living room running round the skirting board.
Price is ASTRONOMICAL for what is basically FreeView+ and 70MBPs broadband.
Customer service (I did call them for the plaster work) is awful.
i’m with IDMobile having switched to them from 3 (ID uses the 3 network)
For a SIM only deal, I pay £12pm for unlimited texts and calls and 120Gb data which rolls over unused stuff - first 6 months are half price so £9pm for the 1st year.
I call that a bloody good deal
I don’t know my monthly useage, I suppose Three can tell me - at least they’ll answer calls
What does this mean?
Without knowing the last time you reset… not a lot.
Scroll all the way to the bottom of that page, and click reset statistics, that will then update from now.
Also, go to mobile data options and tick low data mode - assuming you’re on wifi regularly.
Scroll to the very bottom of that screen, it’ll allow you to rest the period and when current period started.
If you just want to stick with three, then I’m with them with 100gb of data for £9pm. But you can definitely get cheaper.
Buying phones on contract is a false economy unless you want/“need” the latest and greatest every year or two the second it’s released. Just have the best value aim only deal you can get, and then buy a new phone when you need one (black Friday is often good, both for deals on phones that are a few months old, and sin only deals for 12 months)
Last reset 27 Apr 2020.
315GB divided by…30?
I guess on average I don’t use more than 10.3GB per month….
I do stream movies occasionally but I can be mindful to download for those days away.
Dual SIM Lebara and Ooredeo here. Paying 4.95 GBP + 30 QAR per month. Can’t remember how much data come with that but more than adequate for anything I could ever imagine wanting & just works. We generally use whatsapp or Google Meet for making calls, rather than phone minutes.
When the next one of those? Cyber something in November?
My daughters phone is glitching.
I’m on Lebara 15gb for £6.95 rolling monthly contract
About to switch broadband to Open Infra. £20 for 500mb for first 18 months. Then I think it’s going to £30pm
important point - if calling from overseas use a data service (whatsapp, messenger etc) and not the phone.
Well Evri were there usual efficient selves, finally after waiting in 3 days it finally arrived. Will build and “Boast about my latest purchase later.” I have no idea what they meant by “Your courier has had an issue with getting to the delivery address.”, it is a fairly standard address that has been here since the 1930s, and someone was in waiting.
Thanks again to @BadAsh for pointing out this bargain.

Sadly not.
