Hate that fucking tree, and so did my neighbour before he passed. He told the previous owner not to plant it, and 20+ years later, today proves he was right ![]()
££££s to get rid though.
We will have to walk about 150m for a clear view. Oh the humanity…

I’ve got a migraine coming on, so they are on their own if they want to walk up the trails to see it.
See a shadow of it, or do they have proper glasses?
They’ll probably do the paper thing. Unless it clashes with some extra maths or piano, so I’ll let you know how that works out ![]()
They went to town earlier to get Granny a get well soon card and ‘other stuff’, not home yet. I’ll just pretend to be asleep ![]()

the total eclipse of 11th August 1999 coincided with the 25th anniversary of the day me and Mrs FB met, so we went to Paris to see it as that was one of the points of totality.

Very good advise, especially Page 3 back in the day.
“You’ll go blind”, as my mum used to say… “What? Its Sam Fox.”
I don’t remember anything about the 1999 eclipse. Was it visible from Oz?
No. Northern hemisphere only I think.
We never trusted anything in the northern hemisphere. It was like The Wall in GoT ![]()
Anyway, they’ve joined the throng at ‘Top Fields’. If they don’t come back, at least I’m in for the Netflix series royalties. ![]()
