I would see sportif and endurance frames as the same thing - a more relaxed frame geometry for people who ride a lot and want a bit more comfort.
I fit exactly into that demographic and swapped my Trek 5500 for a Canyon Endurace
dont get me started on “enduro” just full suss XC bikes with a bit more travel. get a full suss XC bike and that will do 99% of stuff any average person will throw at it.
Sheesh - there’s a reason I rarely comment on Brexit and it’s because of comments like this that are just plain incorrect.
UK price inflation has been in line with the rest of the world, middle of the pack pretty much. None of it has anything to do with Brexit which has had barely any effect on the UK economy at a macro level.
The data is all there on-line in the form of official figures.
I appreciate that for some people it’s still a very emotive issue and for some niche businesses it has had a negative impact (specialty mail order being the main one which would include bike parts).
Importing a complete, expensive bike from the EU would now attract import duty, just like buying from the USA - I’m guessing that it is this specific issue that you’re referring to @awildt.
A quick google shows that the main impacts are not Brexit related:
And that’s exactly why it is fact from my statement - the updated statement is not mine. Due to the refinement of operations Trek have consolidated their warehousing in Europe and now slap on that price hike for the UK bike sales. First hand info not just hearsay and political conjecture.
Also why I do wade in and comment with this particular bike manufacture. No idea what the others are doing.
I was sick of using my Black & Decker workmate & an upturned box for my TV…I’m not a Zwifter atm. With this I can have my screen much closer as my Saris rocker plate can go under it.
