Did a bike session with the tri club today and my HR readings seem way too low. This was recorded via external HR. Is there any way to revert to the wrist HR?
I’m assuming not, but thought I’d ask…
If it’s already saved I’m pretty sure not, I haven’t seen anything I’m afraid.

So…my useless Garmin has not been sending session data to Garmin Connect.
it used to do this automatically, but as an example, my Monday run and Tuesday bike (to the chip shop and back) have not been saved…and when i try to Sync the device (it can see the watch) nothing is transferred…
So i did a test sat at my desk - which has saved to Connect, saved to Strava and i got an email notification from kommot.de with my test run on it and a map of the 'run (ie the house location).
how the fek have they got access to this?
If you sync via your phone go into Garmin connect and settings, then hunt for connected apps, is it there?
I’m sure it’s on the full website of connect as well.
Good reminder as I’ve just deleted supersapiens!

Mine does most of the time but sometimes I need to do prompt a sync from the app to get it on there. It’s never instant though, always takes 2-3 mins or longer if it’s a big session.

i can’t say i’ve done a ‘big’ session in years…just annoying that when i do, it can’t seem to save the data…
i am more annoyed about a 3rd party gaining access access though…

Have you agreed to third parties in the past that might have been bought by them? I deleted a couple last year but I had knowingly agreed to them

My Fenix 5 seems to be on its way out. Its almost impossible to get the thing to charge, I’ve cleaned the port and tried a new cable. The barometric altimeter has caked its pants, it currently thinks Im at the top of Ben Nevis and if I accelerate too fast in the car it gives me a storm warning.
Unsure where to go next. Fenix 8 is out, seems mostly to be a 7 with an AMOLED screen, which the Epix 2 already had. Annoyingly HM Samuel had the Epix 2 for 350 notes a while back, but its back at 650 now.
Also wondering if it souls be good to have one that looks a bit nicer, maybe the Marq adventurer.
Cant decide, what do people think?

For charging these things btw, these are miles better than any of the garmin stuff, the angled bit, the USB-C connector, all just works so much better than the garmin ones.
Even if it doesn’t fix this one, get it for the next!

Not a bad deal, but Ive always bought the previous model and it feels like its already out of date.
