The answer is that is you give IM #1 solid effort, you will not be giving IM #2 anything other than lip service.
I hear that too but they just go in my spam folder now. Seriously though My SiL knows of him through her ‘friends’ and he gets good reviews.
I hear his remote view sessions are good, but don’t ask him to video it.
I watch his free YT videos
So two waterproof jackets from the purchases thread?
The page is up now but no course details. Swim and run at an around Roundhay Park. Would have thought that is a congested swim and hard for locals to come and support the run. Relay with work colleagues is probably the most likely for me then.

I told a mate who has done a few tri’s and the first thing he said is “How much will cost?”. Typical Yorkshire
and apparently they don’t accept Yorkshire Tenners FFS
Buttertubs is ~60miles away from Roundhay so unlikely to go up that unless they can find a route a few miles less each way
No flat cap or whipet ???
IM branded flat caps I could see, but a whippet, I’d be queuing up overnight to buy one
Good find Out in the Dales then, if the weather is decent, it should be a great event!
Funny Northern quips in the thread. I looked up the North vs South stereotypes
Plenty of decent climbs that could be on the route, Greenhow hill from Pateley Bridge, Langbar, Norwood Edge, Cow and Calf, the East Chevin Rd, plenty more than that too.
I’m not sure why you would want to send the route over the Buttertubs. I reckon you would end up with a good proportion of the field walking the steep bit towards the top and then you’ve got a steep, technical descent down the other side. You’d then have to pick another steep road to get you back out of Swaledale and heading south again .
From a logistical point of view, I think you’d want a shorter lapped route that isn’t going to close too many roads and cut communities off for the day.
