I really don’t think they should have gone into cars.,.got the colour wrong and, to be honest, the branding is poor…
I know its only a miner detail course wise , but you would have thought design the course when coming up with the concept
It’s like we’re all in the dark.
£629 for a mystery race
dear god…
Looks like Bolton 70.3 survives another year in 2026, just had an email saying it’s early July and entries open soon.
Think it’s sold out this year as well.
Edit: could be popular as well with the 70.3 WC in Nice again
How much is a 70.3 these days? Horrify me.
Weymouth is north of £400 as someone I coach decided to do Bexhill instead as its too much
Bloody hell, £400 for a half is up there! That was first tier pricing for Wales last time I did it.
I think tier 1 starts just north of £300 without fees.
Challenge are still cheaper by some way but that one in Wales is pretty remote!
About £375 plus “processing” fees, so plus £35
About £410
I paid £330 for Weymouth - possibly tier 1
Just checked this years is currently £413, not a bad guess.
Was that in the first 90 days? (And without the £30 - £35 fees?)
I paid €280 to do Roth 2008 (circa £200 as Sterling was strong in 2007 when I entered).
My last midnightnan was £180 iirc St Polten was less than £200 but seemed a lot at the time
StP was certainly under €200 the first couple of times I did it, and Sterling was better back then. But that bike course is worth every penny.
Challenge St Polten is only €259. ‘Bargain’ if you’re a drive away.
Speaking of which a 9hr video of it showed up on my you tubes list today from yesterday’s race, so stuck a few minutes on to see the drone footage of race site. A big football stadium on it now instead of the tennis one we ran through about 6 times!
