Your recent 4 x 4 x 4 run effort would say you’d be good at that :+1:t3:

I ballsed it up in 2018 when I did it before.
Too fast on the first Oly

It’s not as slick as Blenheim, but it’s local

Typical, Boris and Ange just about to permit travel for fully vaccinated people by the sound of things!

Still need to get through France though.

Wonder if Holland will follow.

France and Belgium for my van journey

Still happier going next year though

Plus I don’t think she’s planning on the next 6 weeks when she says “foreseeable future”

It’s mental torture when you have a European event in the next few months.

The travel reviews are every 3 weeks with the next one on Thursday the 15th.

Still the issue about France not letting us in even for transit but they might follow soon.

But you don’t have the uncertainty at least; still plenty of that moving forward I think. They (UK & abroad) can easily change the ‘rules’ again if things start escalating for whatever reason.

Yeah

I’m not ready both mentally and physically, so still happy I deferred.

France allows you in if double jabbed. It’s the return that is the problem at the moment.

I drive through Belgium as well…

You don’t have to though. It may take a couple of hours more driving, but you can just travel through France.

It’s Holland for me and we are on their red list but as before it’s a fluid situation.

I drove via Calais>Belgium>DE. Driving around Brussels is almost always HELL; well okay it wasn’t maybe once. DE to UK is a drive I’ve done a fair few times (flew from MUC when I lived in Bavaria).

If ever do it again, I will go via Tournai/Charleroi/Liege, the southern Belgium route…if travelling from Calais. Also done the Newcastle>Imujden route, which was much nicer.

Yeah, it’s always “fun” there

To be fair, I just put the route in Google maps and follow where my phone tells me to go.
