There will be some super quick times.
That new bike course is FAST
Was averaging 37km/h until the meltdown

Congratulations @Augustin too. He’s just finished 11:08:55
Also it looks like if you are male and German you have to have a Ryzon tri suit, otherwise you can’t do IM Frankfurt you’d fit right in @fruit_thief !!
Well done for hanging in there @funkster , so very hard when your body and mind have checked out.
11.05 is still the stuff dreams for many of us, so well done again
Excellent, great to hear
Nice one, @funkster!
Matthew has just finished? Not sure if he’s had to stop for something?
Well done both Was it hot the end?
@Mathew_Pritchard has the fine distinction of taking longer on the run than the bike. I did that there in 2015 (5:22/5:31 iirc)
I hope you’re both okay and no medical tent visits. BIER UHR
Something must have happened. 3.10 to 20 miles and then a 5.51 total run time. Hope all is ok.
Sorry, but late to this one today. Sounds like some really interesting days out there.
Echoing what everyone has said though, well done all. Don’t lose sight of hot hard an ironman actually is on the body!
@Mathew_Pritchard well done on finishing looks like your day didn’t go to plan, which makes finishing all the more admirable
Mind checked out at 150km just after the body
Bike got a little toasty, but clouds appeared on the run which helped massively.
Water didn’t feel super warm
Tough days all round - well done guys!
Thank you ! Forgot how tough these races were…will send more details tomorrow…my head still working 100pct
Meant to say NOT working
Thanks guys my lights went out at 38km and passed out, I got given 3 IVS and they gave me the good grace to walk the last 4km alongside my wife
Never been so scared never had to battle like that
Well done all on finishing
Shit dude.
Crikey, well done (if slightly crazy) to get the finish @Mathew_Pritchard
