IMNZ and Skipper

Certainly crushing the bike.

The lead FPro is demolishing her field as well.

Ironman for some reason using the Grand Union flag last used in Britain in 1801 to represent GBR.

Unfortunately (?) been out for dinner, but just arrived home shortly after a skipper win. Annoying in-laws wanting to go for a nice meal!

Win by 7 mins. Demolished the field on the bike, only Koutny stayed with him and that trashed his legs while Joe knocked out a 2:43. After IMFL, that’s very impressive.

Just don’t over race and come into Kona tired Joe…

Get on. Nice one Skips!

Is that his first WTC IM win, then?

No he won (smashed) Florida last November as well.

And IM UK 2018!

Third win now.

Where’d you see that @joex ?

Ironman now

I just saw it on Ironman Now on Facebook. Commentary said a new world record?

Think it was a course record? Not a WR?

His nan passed away while he was in NZ.

Love Skipper. What a win

Yes, great performance, swim wasn’t too bad either.

Big win for Theresa Adam as well, she’s crushed the field.

brilliant performance and a great pay day for him… he’s got a big Kona performance in him this year I reckon.

Didn’t know about his nan. Sorry to read that. No wonder he was tearful at the finish. :frowning:

Great wins by Joe and Teresa Adam. I went to bed shortly after T2 but he was running really well and couldn’t see another winner.

7:54 on that course!!!

The big chip road is rough and the run is quite “hilly” (for an IM run)
A fair bit of trail/track on that course, too, isn’t there?

Impressive stuff.

Bolton’s tougher…!?

In fact I have no idea TBH.

Great win.
