He looks to be the fastest runner in the top 4, but has he got enough road to pass chevalier I and take 2nd? I don’t think he can make 1st unless Sam has a disaster.

Just catching up (National 100 TT, few epic soakings) thanks for the updates and trying to make sense of the madness of the IM tracker.
Long drive home and I’m tired think it will be regular stops to load up caffeine, unload urine and get the latest from Bolton!

Went for an OW swim this morning, one of those heavy showers came through & I honestly couldn’t sight for a few minutes.
Been bone dry at home, got 2 loads on the line.

Yeah, that was the same checkpoint Sid was delayed through as well…
Skipper up to second I reckon at 26km…10mins to catch Sam…looks like a tough challenge unless he has a meltdown

You know this could be close, if he’s 30s faster per km as per the last split. There’s 8m30s between them and just over 16km to go…
I was thinking that earlier. The estimated time for that segment is too optimistic as it seems to be based on the ave speed of the preceeding faster short segment, but the delay we’re seeing now far exceeds that

Skipper does appear to be shifting…hoping Sam has something left to finish strong.
Edit: TC through 152km… hopefully just a chip issue or something for Poet

Gap down to 6:19 at 30km. Skipper took back 2:15 in 4.2km.
The map has TC past Poet, with Poet at a standstill.
