never punctured on them in a race until Bolton.

I’ve got a set of 404FC clinchers, but just as likely to puncture on those, too.

For anyone to get three punctures in one ride/race on different wheels (back/front/back) is just pure bad luck.

Even if I was on clinchers, I’d have been screwed.
As the people offering up a wheel had disc brakes :joy:
