Similar climb to IM Wales then, that run - 400m odd.

Full Kona course now available on Rouvy :+1:

Was Running always available on Rouvy?

I seem to have just discovered it…and it has part of the Barcelona IM run route too. Accepts zwift runpod.

Worked fine with zwift runpod, if a little fast.

Interesting theres some gritty tracks and railroads to run over for next year at IM Barcelona

I am giving the 140.6 (in 7 days) a go. Currently at 48% so need to get a wiggle on.

Looking forward to finishing the Rouvy Kona course on Sunday. :cold_sweat:

Rouvy running is new to me too! Apparently in beta since 1/10. Thanks for the heads up. I have a runpod and will look it up.

Go for it!

I saw yesterday, 4500 registered for the 7 day, 1500 the 3 day, and around 800 each on the 17h SBR and RBR events. Somehow I thought there would be more, but it makes sense I suppose.

lol

I am swimming

Are you doing it?

Yeah. Not really looking forward to it like I did the other IMVRs. Its gonna be a long day and looks like Ill be on my own with the family out on Saturday.

06:00 Breakfast and prep the paincave
07:10 Cycle to the VA pool, hope to get off as soon as they open
07:30 3860m swim, probably slower than OW
09:15 Finish, cycle home
09:30 Rouvy Kona, Facebook Watch and Netflix - I might try the Zoom thing and join the IM live broadcast
15:00 Dismount and start running, looks like its dry but cold
20:00 Get pissed on my own in the pub

Well thats the dream, but pretty sure Ill be crawling up Summer Hill for the fourth time at 23:00 wondering for the millionth time why I couldnt figure out a flat route!

5.5hr bike but a 5hr run?

Well okay Im sandbagging quite a bit but Ive watched the dream fade so many times, 5h would still be a big win for me. :grinning:

Do Zwift rides count towards your bike?

I think in the 7 day and 3 day events, not in the 17h - that has to be Rouvy or outdoors.

Good luck the weekend

Good luck Joe. Yeah, the solo marathon will be the killer.

I had to do two swims because my pool is only offering 45 minute slots and wouldn’t budge on it, which is fair enough.

It will be interesting to see how many people finish.

Cheers all.

Bit of a rush this morning but in the pool without any dramas at 07:34 it was bloody freezing on the bike even with two jerseys on.

Set off at 07:35 on other person joined me in the lane. No traffic, no deafting, no stopping. I noticed she might be catching me after about 600m. It was like being chased by a very slow shark…she finally caught me at 2000m but instead of passing and giving me a draft she bailed  oh well!

Second one in the pool and pretty much last one out: 3875m 01:09:43

:slightly_smiling_face:

Cycled home now on the Rouvy Kona course in timetrial mode.
