Spoke about the crowds with my wife today funnily enough.
I’d be fine with no crowds. It’s not a deal breaker for me but easy for me to say that having experienced them there before. I’d like to just execute the best race I can.
If I were a first timer I’d probably feel a touch differently about it though. The crowds are probably as big a pull as the difficulty of the course

The way the email reads I’m not convinced they are confident it will go ahead. They may as well put “we’ve done everything we can, the event isnt going to be as you’d expect, a bit shit really, but if its still not on blame Drakeford”

The LCW cancellation email made it very clear the ‘Welsh Government’ had made the decision and were to blame and their annoyance was very apparent.

What does a typical training week look like for you at the moment?
Somewhere between 10 and 14 hours
1-2 hours swimming - 2x pool 1 OW
7-8 hours riding - generally one turbo, the rest outside at various intensities
2-3 hours running. Generally easy pace with some harder efforts thrown in
This is pretty typical for me all year though. I’m not planning on changing much as we get closer just adding a true long S/B/R in every week
That’s interesting. I’m running too much and cycling way too little - has always been the case ( not that I’ve ever followed any structured training plan )
Just out of interest - what sort of time would you be looking at on the bike with 7,8 hrs a week on race day?
