I’m 50/50 at the moment.
Did Holkham 70.3 at the weekend, it was really tough and I’m still recovering, made me realise my training is some way off with not much time to go.

Even if I knew it was a basking shark and that it wouldn’t do anything, I would be freaking out!
I swam around a headland in Croatia a few years back. The water is really clear, but I reached a point where it quickly dropped off and I couldn’t see anything. Just deep blue. It made me speed up quite a bit!

Nope, registration is still open at 550 +10% booking fee.
Are you tempted? I’m thinking about doing it next year but it’s during term time and need to decide it would be too much travelling over the weekend.

It wasn’t on IMJ, I saw this on New2Tri FB page… New2Tri is actually pretty nice, much better than IMJ.
Should post on IMJ if someone hasn’t already.
I know it is just a Basking Shark, however, I would be pretty nervouse about swimming solo. I think with a load of other swimmers I would be OK… just don’t get isolated
