Finished my last big block of training yesterday so I’m anticipating that (as always) I’ll throughly enjoy the first 12 hours of the taper before the agitation sets in 
for the next 2 weeks.
Last time I did Wales was 2018 when I had a very lacklustre day after straying into overtraining (not a good experience). I’ve definitely not done that this time so going back hoping to put some demons to bed.
How’s everyone else feeling two weeks out?
August has felt like a complete write off for me. Too much time spent not cycling with no real consistency. Having said that, I have managed to keep swim and run ticking over

I’m down spectating as we’ve got 15 from our club competing. I’ll probably go for a swim Saturday morning , our guys have been recommended to swim at 7am to experience similar conditions to the Sunday race and that suits as I’ve got a Zoom call at 10am. Friday night will be busy.
Yes, I would not advise leaving a practice swim much later, as you’ll be walking a long way out to the water and your sighting references won’t make any sense.
