Yeah i think 3-6 could be cut a whole bunch of different ways. There’ll be some good races for that bottom step I reckon.
But I just have a feeling Jan is going to masterclass this.

Hmmm really open/interesting as we don’t really know who climbs well or who could gain a couple of minutes on the descent.
Lange has the build of a GT climber and will run well.
Would like to see Frodo do it with Skipper on the step

Wurf came 7th there in 2019, 4th in 2023 but Mignon won it at 8h17.
RVB won Nice last year which will excite the Americans but the field and 8h24 says more like top ten.

All checked in, hopefully given up worrying now but it’s going to be another unpleasant night for sleeping, not sure leaving the fan on will help or keep me awake! Just need to finish my drinks and get the last couple of things ready.
Checked the tram times. The 6:37 might be cutting it fine!
Genuinely just want to finish without setting myself back too much so need to bite my lip and try to go with a run/walk from the start, thinking of 2/1K and see how that goes. Might get me towards 30k, if it’s niggling before then I’ll need to decide what to do.

I’d like to think I can be on the run by about 8:15, but that does depend on a wetsuit swim. I’ll be faffing in transition getting changed and putting sunscreen on to make my misery as comfortable as possible so don’t get angry poet!
So, best case is likely to be around 12:30 if everything goes to plan, sub 15 if not!

4:30am on a Sunday morning and I’m up and watching YouTube! Enjoy (as much as you can) the non wetsuit swim and soak up the incredible atmosphere on what will be an amazing day. Just don’t do anything stupid and get to that finish line, Race strong.
