Not quite @itom150 earnings but not too bad.
I’ve been going on their ten years. But never pass up the opportunities for big pay outs like:
All insurance (and help out parents etc if they dont use it!)
swap energy, telecoms etc can easily be a good £50-£100
Plenty of financial stuff offers money like taking out an ISA or my favourite credit cards. Recently got paid £70 by santander to take out their balance transfer card which is no fee and 0%. We bought a car on a 0% credit card and left the money in savings so can pay it off if needed and whilst we wait we earn interest.
My favourite trick is stacking the discounts. Whenever im getting something like a new TV, the steps are:
- Get curry’s, John Lewis etc to price match
- Buy gift vouchers at 93%-95% from through stuff like work corporate discount (eden red, Vitality, etc)
- Get boosted 10% cashback when its on.
When I bought my macbook pro Currys had a trade in offer and think I got a macbook pro for about £650-£700 when all the discounts stacked
‘Kin ‘ell.
I’d say you need to get out more, but you’re always out running
I do my best thinking whilst im running
I often problem solve when Im on a run if i’ve hit a bit of a mental brick wall with a problem
He can use all that extra money to pay someone to paint his stairs…
How very timely, just reminded me about i tbh.
Another little £5 saved just now on Mrs GB’s pressie. Also 15% off via BlueLight discount. Only pity was i have a bunch of vouchers from Covid study, cashback deal and a work thing that have a really crap selection to spend them on. Would’ve been nice to use them on this direct.
They do have tesco, Asda etc, so it does work out in the end if i use them for a food shop or whatever. Just doesn’t feel the same as buying the thing without the money leaving your account.
Yes.
Nothing ruins a run like CET1 requirements
I hate “thinking” on a run.
All I like to think about is which Avicii BANGER is coming on next
I just listen to the sound of the birds
And yet another reason not to go for a run
I like Avicii and the sound of birds…
Then it’s Feel Good for you, surely?
Nike (up to) 50% sale has just started. Only had a quick flick through to grab some Goretex Pegs and a pair of Zoom Fly 4s, so not sure what else is in, but did see some Tempo Next%
Alphas 50% off
^^^^ That’s a good deal ^^^^
Also, if you’re after a trail shoe I’m getting on well with the Wildhorse which you can pick up from £55.
Ta, just bought some wildhorse, hoping they’re as good as the Peg T2’s.
Ordered some for the Mrs - Brownie points in the bag
@fruit_thief you can now get the second shoe you’ve been hankering after
Mathematically that only works if I can go back in time and buy the other shoe at 50% off too. At least, that would be my wife’s perspective.
nearly pressed the buy button but with 4 pairs in rotation already I’ve put my sensible head on, for now
It’s only a good deal if you need (want and can use) what you’re buying. Otherwise it’s just impulse purchase
A pair of Alpha’s and a pair of Tempo’s ordered.
I have tried the Tempo’s before and didn’t get on with them but these ones are Flyknit so may be better.
