Well sat and refreshed the Nike app from 7:55 and by 8:00:30 all the major sizes were out of stock
So what the expected price rise for Nikes once the tariffs hit?
Are there any European super shoes?
Hobbits only
Did the even get normal adult sizes in?
ASICS are Japanese I think?
Erm, adidas as well
Puma do one don’t they?
Plus you’ve got On.
Don’t think I’ve seen a mizuno super shoe.
Others I can think of - saucony, Brooks and Hoka obvs are all US
What tariffs? I don’t watch the news.
They’re shipped from Germany, in the EU. Sent to Castle Donington, then on a truck to your feet, via your friendly UPS driver
Nike shoes will cost more for Americans because they are not made in America. Unless the UK imposes a specific Nike tax, won’t make any difference here.
Doesn’t look like it, I refreshed and saw a 9.5 and then it was gone again.
Hear what you’re saying but I expect Nike prices will rise everywhere to cover the companies costs transacting in the US
Plus Trump will tell us to raise our tariffs as soon as he finds that Nike are cheaper in UK than London or punish us for “not playing ball”.
Whatever way, more expensive trainers imho.
@leahnp / did you get them? Loads left still today. Vaporfly and Streakfly 4s
I only want the Proto colour scheme to match the AF3 and my Shyu socks.
I managed to order a pair of VF4 from Run4it and with a club discount that took the edge off the price. Should arrive later today and plan to use them for the Euro champs in Poland in 2 weeks time
You little baby
Shoes arrived and after a quick test they are narrower and lower than previous versions with the tongue and lacing across the top of the foot instead of off centre. For a tri shoe the tongue is not as high as previous versions so you cannot fold it over for a rapid entry
Narrower!!! My wide feet won’t cope.
I didn’t buy any, seeing as I barely jog anymore
I’d like a pair of the StreakFly version like.
It feels like an arms race, the main man in my AG is 15-20s faster on the run but draft legal means it’s a run race with a bit of a club ride in the middle. So if I can close the gap by a few sec then so be it
Want a new pair of Alphaflys, are they really nearly 300 quid now? What a rip off.
