Nope, identical to the men’s version
Why would the women’s version of things need to be anything other than just smaller and coloured pink ![]()
Coincidentally, I just wore a pink shirt, and small shorts for my run. Now my wife won’t sleep with me. Her words. ![]()
Looks like sportspursuit have matched their prices to men’s and women’s sale items so you can’t get a bargain that way. Or they’re tracking and dynamic pricing like holiday sites do.
A super trainer and I would say better than pegs but it is not a racing shoe so the VF is faster but less durable l
Got a good price on my size so I’m thinking of going for it. Runfluencers seems to love it for training and racing.
As we move off the trails with wetter weather coming into autumn I want better road shoes.
Trying to talk myself into it, clearly!
Would be a bit more inspiring as an hour in my old miler 2s is painful, and only doable in pegasus 38s that feel pretty harsh now too. My trail 3s are still fluffy enough.
Maybe I don’t need them.
Argh.
They are a good middle ground they have the pop and spring with the carbon plate but not super squishy compared to the VF.
Is it April?
First new shoes in two + years.
So opened the box and first thoughts were - these do not look good. The web pics gave that impression too.
Put them on for a recovery run. They’re supposed to be good for easy/long pace, and tempo/speedwork. Everything really.
They do have the squidgy feel of Vapor’s but also the snuggly feeling of milers. An odd combo but felt fine at really slow pace, after thirty minutes I put in some moderate effort sprints and they picked up pace great. Quite surprised they transition from one to the other really well. Didn’t feel as powerful as Vapor’s but much nicer on the easy pace.
And on my feet they actually look better - I think I’m just used to the primary/bright colours these things usually have.
In like them for that, they pick up pretty quickly from plod to tempo
Any use, Pegasus T5’s for £65 at Nike, not the best colour for trail shoes but they’ll get dirty anyway.
Can’t remember if doon & bongo still use them, I pretty much use mine most of the time on the trails. Poet for dog walking?
Some ASICS Nimbus 25 from Cheshire Oaks outlet. Investing in all the foam for my dodgy knee.
First 10km run in them yesterday was favourable.
I’ve got a pair of them on the go. Picked them up instead of the Wildhorses I’ve had the last couple of times. Found them a bit more substantial, but fine for trail training miles.
I had thought of rotating out my Nikes for ASICS but the Trabuco seemed quite clunky…..not in the market for a few months though, will look deeper then.
Ki! ‘Ell @jeffb ![]()
I just bought some On CloudSurfer Trails for walking the dog in. And I don’t rate them as much as my battered old Peg Trails I chucked out.
Only if you’ve got really small or really big feet

I got 10’s last night so probably got in early enough!
I’m still seeing 9s and 10s in one of the colours on sale, the plain pale ones
Gonna get muddy anyway so colour doesn’t matter, they’ll soon be brown ![]()

Only get cleaned if it snows ![]()
Huh? Standard size 11 here. A normal shoes size.
I’ve seen size 14-15 VaporFly’s, in the outlet, now they’re a shoe! Certainly get your money for them.
