Most of the time it’s free money, and I use it all the time, but I once was checking hotel prices on Hotels dot com, realized I hadn’t gone via TopCashback, so opened a new tab for that, and when I did the same search in the new tab (via TopCashback) the prices on Hotels dot com had gone up x%, where x was the % cashback I was now armed with. Sneaky.

I hope you used PayPal or a credit card.
If it was fashion shoes and they were fake at that price, and they turned-up, then no ‘damage’ done. But running shoes…
My heart says yes, my head and my wife says no
My transaction declined for some reason. So now i’m all nervous. tesco credit card spotted it and will ensure nothing untowards happens from that site … but there’s no way i’m trying again.
This one is with you now @Poet
Ladbrokes are giving poor odds of Poet’s shoes appearing on his doorstep.

You mean scheiss
Just to make you feel better, their listed address on their website is a Sainsbury’s local
https://www.loc8nearme.co.uk/greater-london/teddington/sainsburys/151007/
My flyknit’s turned up today but I left them at work I was going to the garage for my car.
I did try one on, fit was alright but the sole wasn’t as spongy as the 4%'s, I’ll have to see about a test run in them at some point, probably be a pair I’ll do low key races in or some training sessions.
Jeff
Yeah - fucked up there
They’re selling Off White Jordan’s for £82.
They sell on StockX for £2k.
Mugged right off.
Their store is in Google shopping, so I just assumed legit and they didn’t know what they had in stock
Oh dear! Glad my credit card failed/was smart enough to block it. Got caught in a little red blooded moment! Haha
Bank sent new card - refunded TXN
Bike24 have shipped the crimson ones to me.
Next% now have 39.5km in them…
…it is currently chucking it down, so I’m going to go for a nice 30-32km jog in them and see how they hold up in the wet (grip, water retention, leakage etc)
My Zooms have just arrived in the UPS collection point, so a slight detour for me on the way home from work. Then i think i’ll either go down to the dirt track or (more likely) the seafront for a flat speed session. See how they hold up …
Mine are also showing as due for delivery at the UPS collection point by the end of the day…
First “fast” run in the Flys this morning
5 mile progressive on light gravel path - 7:35 / 7:04 / 6:50 / 6:30 / 6:05
Felt fine, but prefer the wide forefoot platform of the Nexts. Feel like I might fall off the top of the Flys / 4%s
Are you not in danger of using-up the NEXTs ‘magic qualities’ by putting mileage on them at this stage. That’ll be over 60km in the first fortnight?
I wonder how long the magic lasts in these…
It’s a little worrying that we’re at the stage that savvy people are so hyped-up over these Nike shoes, that they are falling for scam websites
That’s 70km in them now.
Oh, the water repellent is not that good in the actual
Wet.
My feet are soaked.
As for holding water - the left shoe weighs 245g post wet run (223g dry)
But…no blisters and my feet feel good.
Again, the fit is great for me, but the tongue doth slide around
They’re looking a bit battered now
I’m going to do 100k in them and return them.
Whilst they’re undoubtedly a better marathon shoe, for up to half marathon, I feel faster with the 4%.
The 4% feels “edgy” and encourages your foot not to be in contact with the floor. Whereas when I’m in the Next%, that massive (comparatively) footplate just loves being in contact with the ground.
