Is this another, legitimate, source that you have found?!
No.
@leahnp found it - I’ve used it before, many moons ago.
oo ja, Bike24.de …das freut mich!
I use them quite a bit packages come via DHL so you might have to factor that in. I just used them to order a replacement visor
First run in the ZF flyknit for me at lunch. I can basically echo everything that has already been said. Cheaper vaporfly 4% they are not.
The very first step you take when putting on the 4% shoes tells you there’s something different about them. Every time I wear them. The ZF were just normal shoes. In fact, I’d agree with GB that they feel a lot lot firmer. The 4% are soft but with a spring/recoil feeling. It shows the importance of the ZoomX foam, as with the carbon plate these just feel stiff.
That said, they’re comfy. As a training shoe, they’re nice. I’ve not bought trainers at a fraction over £50 in a long time, and I had no negative reaction to running in them. The fact they’re firmer actually means they are more practical to wear regularly, as the 4% (ignoring durability concerns) are quite unstable. In addition, the flyknit upper is so comfortable that I may well buy another pair at this price!
DPD for me - it’s tracking in the app as we speak.
It’s interesting all the focus is on the carbon plate - and that’s the bit the competitors are copying, but the research actually found that it was the foam that made the difference.
" * Bulk of energy saved by Nike Vaporfly 4% comes from softer foam midsole, not carbon fiber plate."
Personally I would agree with most comments here, I find the Vaporfly quite unstable, especially when I first put them on. I’m not disagreeing that they are fast though. From comments on the Next% it sounds like they feel a little more stable and assuming they are still as fast may suit me better. But by the time I’ve put 100+ miles on my Vaporfly it might be time for the NextNext%%.
I’ve got a pair of Zoot trainers from, maybe, 2014/15 and they have a carbon plate in them. They’re just about hanging on for me as I kept the mileage very low on them, races only. Very stiff, pretty quick as well. But not very forgiving.
So…the new Zoom Fly (NOT FLYKNIT ANYMORE) drop tomorrow…
…same carbon plate, but Nike React foam. They claim to be durable and comfortable.
You should definitely buy them; after you’ve got the ZF3.
@Poet
Nike All World Athlete - Platinum
Air Zoom Terra Kiger 5 probably next purchase…
…will wait until the gawdy pink colourway goes into the outlet, hopefully in October. Just in time for sliding around Tatton Park with the dog
Does the 30 day trial still apply to NRC app for the discount Flyknits? Between those and the NB FuelCore sonic, both £55
I don’t see why not?
https://www.nike.com/gb/help/a/returns-policy-eu
We design our shoes and gear to help you perform at peak level, so if they’re not working exactly right for you, we’ve got you covered. When you buy on Nike.com, we provide you 30 days from the delivery date to take your Nike or Hurley purchases for a trial run, confidently knowing you can return (or exchange) any item (some exceptions apply) for any reason within 30 days. That even includes custom Nike By You sneakers. No questions asked and no delivery costs for NikePlus Members. And after 30 days, you can still return items if they’re unworn and unwashed.
Yeah, so I noticed you can either get the Next% with carbon plate at ZoomX foam, or the Zoom Fly with carbon plate and more durable foam or the Pegasus Turbo for the ZoomX foam without the plate.
Presumably it is the foam which limits the life, so the Pegasus are a low mileage shoe too. But surely @Poet you need all 3 to give us a full review?
FOR SURE!!!
I will order the Pegasus Zoom Turbo 36 once the refund for the fake website shoes and Next% hit my bank account
Surely everyone should be doing this???
IN OTHER NEWS
I have warmed to the Next%
Just done another Fartlek session in them and man, are they comfort personified!
Bagged 5 KoMs and 5 Top Tens
Felt no ills in my legs after the 30k on Tuesday afternoon, no blisters, no toenails blackened (though I have also bought new socks)
They are a different shoe to the 4%, but after now covering 82km in them, they are softening up and actually feel better than out of the box.
It won’t be long before some of you have spent enough to buy a S/H car on Nikes
The Vaporfly’s are now on prodirectrunning and sportsshoes and critically in sizes 13 and 14 which means Ive finally been able to bag a pair. Project sub-2:40 might have just got a little boost:D
