Yes. Titled something along the lines of here’s your Nike invoice for…
Thought they looked dodgy - deleted them without opening.
Checked my nike profile just to make sure I didn’t have anything going through their system too

Nope, nothing here
I didn’t open them (at first)…but all of the order numbers tallied up with my Nike account(s)
The email is verified TLS and all that jazz by google…so I opened one…right date and address, so guess is has to be from Nike…
…unless we’ve been hacked!
goes to check online banking…
Yeah I did and thought dodgy!
Not clicked on anything and checked my account.
But if another pair of trainers turn up
Must’ve fallen foul of some regulation, so are rectifying it…or someone has pressed the wrong button
Typos/auto correct, not grammar issues. So lack of attention to detail/application of one’s intelligence. Exactly why I came away from Swansea with a Desmond!
Snap, deleted mine immediately as well.
Some of those trail pegs for next year’s summer trail running would be openly received though Nike. No complaints.
I got some as well, although not for all my orders. All the links are legit and nothing malicious in the PDF, so (like you say) reckon someone pressed the wrong button!
Stealth marketing from Nike…planting a seed in our brains to get another order in
I had a text last night saying someone was trying to send me money via ‘paym’ and I should contact my bank or building society, and text STOP to opt-out.
Never heard of paym? What’s the catch, if I text back I get charged for a text and they get the cash?
Anyone know, if I sign up to Nike in my birthday month will I get the discount code sent same month? Or do I have to be a member for a certain amount of time?
Yes.
Phoned Nike and let them know
No catch. It’s cashless transfers using just your mobile number.
Similar to Pingit, but “bankless”
No idea what that was about then (paym)
OK so from those with more experience -
Have my VF4s sat at home unworn, waiting for a November marathon. Any thoughts on how much running to put in to them first?
I was thinking probably a faster marathon paced effort (45 minutes or so) as well as maybe a longer, maybe 20 mile long run. But am I going to lose the new shoe oomph putting in close to 30 miles before my A race?
Had a few PF / Achilles issues this year so keen to make sure they don’t cause me any issues. I have been training in Zoomfly FKs for shorter, faster stuff, but wouldnt want to wear these for longer than 90 minutes at race effort as they give me hotspots
(Yes I know I’m about 18 months too late, and it’s all about the Next% these days. But I’m tight)
The Vf4s will give you hotspots too.
You need to size up or buy some better socks.
They’re similar in the way they fall on the ground, but totally different in terms of how they actually feel.
Do a 5km in them and you’ll be right.
Or just get the Next% and send them back?
My experience is different with poet. 4% are the most comfortable shoes I’ve worn. First time doing flat out HMs with no blisters/hot spots at all
I’ve just remembered that I have a 10km race in 2 weeks time, could be an opportunity for an outing.
Rubbish race - shoes gave me issues. Good race - definitely training and not the VFs
So…the returned shoes are apparently recycled into basketball court flooring!
