Yeah, at least a pair of Louboutins last more than 200km. Or do they? Paging @Poet

Probably last more time, but an awful lot less mileage. Probably more blisters than Blummenfelt’s feet as well!

Keep us updated.

Very interesting! Is this where we give the nerd a wedgie for doing maths?

Unless you’re just starting out in TT’s, and your 10PB is on a hilly course and it was windy and you don’t have a skin suit or pointy hat, and you’re still using your ‘triathlon’ position. Then you have to make sure you mention that whenever you’re telling someone your time :wink:

But you’re right - once you’ve got a PB from a dragstrip dual carriageway on a float day with an arms race bike, you stop thinking about the details, since you now have a time that sounds something like a club cyclist should have.

Don’t wear them out in this weather Poet; it’ll wreck those leather soles.

… with the chanel and gucci in the background as well!! :see_no_evil:

So pleased my wife isn’t into shoes.

Handbags however :hot_face:

think i’m lucky there. Mine isn’t into flashy clothing/accessories in the slightest. She likes her fashion and stuff, but she’s much more wise with money than me. She’d never spend a fortune on a single item, regardless of what it was.

They’re right fashionistas in Knutsford init.

So I have bought fair weather shoes! That is the first and last time I succumb to marketing hype. And I have a cat. My life. :sweat_smile::sweat_smile:

Good shout :scream::+1:t3:

Looked at the template for the 220 Tri awards: Options for best running shoe brand, Nikes don’t even make the long list. I know that publication like 220 need to keep sponsors happy, but this is a pathetic

Is this where I lament on the demise of 220, and wax lyrical on the good old 220 days of the late 80s>late 90s? :sweat_smile:

Finally bitten the 4% bullet, thanks for that
