Very good…
Finally got round to it today, sort of. All very slow and kind of by accident. Steady swim in the morning, bike to work, little jog in the evening. Was going to run 6km stadium route but then realised another 4km would make an oly distance.
Did another.
bike to work/ bike home / run / swim this time.
About 2h55 all in and cramped badly in calves & feet towards the end of the swim.
Watch only recorded 100m of the swim for unknown reason, it’s a super-unreliable Wahoo thing. Not recommended.
Teacher a Shark ate my homework (watch didnt record it)
Hips hurting this morning
back to the gym it is
No va va voom today so canned the outdoor ride for multisport in the gym.
My legs really didn’t like the wattbike neutron so kind of a tri day of vague proportions.
Got one brewing
Ran 10km this morning, 55 mins. Ended up at the pool and swam 1500m with the finis tempo torture, 25 mins & was surprisingly hard work after the run.
Then 20km cycled to work for a 12pm start.
It’s 8.20pm now and I’m sitting here trying to drum up the willpower to cycle the 20km home, knowing there’s no beer.
All zone 1 stuff except the swim I guess
Sort of. Half swim, oly bike, sprint run…
Swim was mostly FS, some threshold hundreds and some IM 100s, with base work in between.
Bike was a TR threshold workout, 3x10min over unders with endurance effort before and after.
Workout wasn’t a problem but the watt bike gym environment just makes me suffer so lots of break to get through it.
Run was easy with three threshold pace intervals.
Had two peanut butter sandwiches before, three 550ml bison’s worth of water and six heaped teaspoons of sugar.
that’s an unholy Chimera
but nice
I know triathlon runs are notoriously short, but thats pushing it a bit for a sprint
Nice
As close as I’m going to get to this, at least until the sunny and warm evenings arrive.
3.4k swim this morning.
7k run at lunchtime.
27k commute home on the bike.
3 showers, lots of sweaty kit, but an easy day tomorrow to compensate.
Nice
