Toiled between pool or lake.
Manned up… Once the sun came out.
Got treated to a triple flyover from a Lancaster bomber. Third one couldn’t have been more than 100m directly overhead.

I almost got an ow swim in. Had a bit of a splash in and out of the kayak just in my boardies. Then when everyone was safely onshore I went to put my wetsuit on for a 20 min proper swim.
Unfortunately, after all my patching and rescue work I don’t think the suit’s soul is still with us. RIP Swiss cheese huub. Was hoping to squeeze one lady season out of it. But afraid not.
That means I’ve got to buy a new one. Really don’t want the expense though.
What can I get that’s half decent for under £200?

If you’re a small then Zone3 have some ex-demo and discontinued suits in their outlet. Really happy with how their suits last.

MT in Zone3 fits me perfectly. 183cm, 70ish kg.
