Ace work, @FatPom, for all 3 of you!
New record
My family friend from Wells very often runs Torbay as his daughter lives there. He’s sent me a text saying this lad is 7yrs old, 21.26! (search JM10)

that’s obscene
Cycled over to Amsterdam Parkrun this morning passing a cultural landmark for @fruit_thief on the way.
& over some bridges.
Got round in 18:33 - 1st in AG & 82% thingy - on a diet of bread, beer, poor sleep & pacing that @Poet would be proud of
.
Definitely the only person there on a wanky carbon bike.

As per the rant thread, a disaster for me, walked from 2k but as I was nearly at the turn and it was a nice day I walked it home for 193rd place
probably only about 20 people after me!
My local parkrun starts about 600m from my front door, and today we drove because my wife was recovering after giving birth at 18:03 last night. #3 hung out in the cafe with Mum while I jogged round. Well I jogged the first km with the 22 pacer, was feeling fresh (due to lack of running recently) and picked up the pace as much as I could to scrape under 20. I was leaving pools of sweat on the cafe tables afterwards, think it must have been pretty humid?
The wife and new arrival had a shout out at the beginning, she’d been doing a lot of volunteering in the last few months (tail walker or park walker) and managed to get her 100th run last Saturday,
There’s lovely
.
Best wishes to you all.
Congrats @BadAsh!
Parkrun for me, at the start I heard @BadAsh’s news from the race director, and there I was thinking he’d not be there… mid 19 for me.
And then to complete the days training, walking to Asda that was a collapsed guy with the 999 responder saying if there was a defib around… so that was me running full out to Asda and back up the hill carrying it. Thankfully by the time I was back some chest compressions on them and they were back with the pulse so it wasn’t needed. Ambulance was quick - hope they’re okay, someone I see often on my walks.
Didn’t start my garmin though, so that doesn’t count as training.
Nice work Jim, but glad to hear they were ok without it.
I missed it in the briefing but saw a post on Facebook that our parkrun were saving for a new defib and pads, so for the first time I made a donation to them.
Congratulations @BadAsh
I knew the NHS were struggling, but not even cutting the cord ![]()

Bet not many can say that
Congrats to the expanding @BadAsh clan
Congrats everyone, some solid times there!
Mrs FP and LO did their first official volunteering stint yesterday and were Tailwalkers. They followed the last people, who were two NHS health advisors. (there were lots of NHS people yesterday). Then they pulled out after 2.5km because they were too tired!
So then they had to run to catch the massive gap that had opened up to the next last people who were walking quite fast ![]()
Huge congratulations to you and your family @BadAsh. Special kudos to Mrs BadAsh - Amazing! ![]()
