I almost responded to this at the time but didnt.

It has been eating away at me… I understand why you say that, generally its true for cheats but that doesnt make in a fact for clean athletes, its just genetics… for example I am veiny at 20% body fat and my dad, never been anywhere near any drugs nevermind PEDs

You can’t look at peoples physical appearance and make any kind of assumption. There are exceptions but thats details…

Ah right, that must be why he’s going on R2 as well. I wonder if he’ll forget about his terrible asthma again in the new book….

Can we just have pretend Golden Wiggo back, rather than the real Brad?

“It’s about what happens when the race is over,” he said, “about facing the darkest parts of myself, and finally figuring out and learning to accept who I am and what I am.”

Yeah, I’m not too interested in the darkness and how awful it was for him after he got rich and famous

To some degree I think you have to be (to a level) to be successful at the highest level in sport

They all are. So much to the extent that the latest thing on every insta reel/reality TV show/podcast is really double down on how you absolutely came from nothing, pulled yourself up by your boot straps walking to school uphill both ways for 25 hours a day only to go home to be beaten and live in poverty

3 year ban for Chepngetich, but her 2:09 is allowed to stand  her excuse is that she took her housemaids meds, at least she wasn’t on heart medication

Not read it but first reaction… wtf… how can that be right re: world record? and although Ive not read it I have read and listened alot of media about the situation/case.

Should be a life time ban, not buying a mistake.

Did the test happen after the record?

Nah six months later, you know because most people smash the WR clean then think it’s a necessary time to start doping

Yes, apparently which is why it’s standing, but they’re still investigating and have her phone by sound if it

I’m sure they’d like to get it backdated and remove the record.

How are they saying they’re sure she only tested positive because she had sex with a doper?

This seems even less believable than the contaminated burrito story…

Or is it the same thing?
