Roglic and Pogacar once again look to be the men in brilliant form. Let’s hope they can carry all thr way to the Tdf and have a rematch.

T-A didn’t disappoint today, so much suffering on display.

Thanks for the reminder. Need to catch up on the highlights :+1:t2:

Just watched it. Cracker of a stage.

Spoiler

How absolutely wrecked did MVDP look. He used every single drip left in the tank to stay away! There’s a serious crop of young talent butting heads this year! Be good to see Bernal, as another youngster, fire up some of his old form as well.

Just watching the last kms of P-N. Equally exciting.

P-N Spoiler

Just looked on Twitter, Roglic crashed twice getting nasty arse road rash on both cheeks & dislocating a shoulder. Hard as nails to continue fighting yet not finish in top 10.

PN spoiler

He bust a shoulder? Man that guy is tough as nails then as he was still gassing that last, what, 20km solo. Full gas on the chase!

Just goes to show you’ve got to keep fighting for every second throughout, cos you just don’t know what will happen in a few days time.

Huge Saturday of slothing coming up.

Milan-San Remo or the final 3 matches of the 6 Nations.

Time to start building up the brownie points.

Has mvdp found a ladder to get out of that hole he dug himself the other day yet? :joy:

Bloody hell, if he wins :scream::scream::scream:

Sounds great, finish estimated around 2.50pm so plenty of time do get some jobs done and be in front of telly by 2pm.

Cycling podcast good for whetting appetite, talking up a big 4 of JA, MvdP, WVA and Pog. Who knows, in a one day race, with all of these guys? And their teams? Does Sam Bennett get a look in?

Anyway, this is the easy part of my day. I need to earn Brownie points for the England/India T20 decider straight after and the Everton-Citeh FA cup tie straight after that. Fortunately I reckon I will only need to watch the second half of the cricket and um…the first 15 minutes of the football!

But yes, looks like an awesome race.

Tour of Britain route is out. Coming back my way again (and @Flyingelephant).

Will have to check the pro racing calendar to work out if there’ll be any top names turning up or not.

Might be worth a ride out to the Warren Inn on Dartmoor for a few beers.

Yup!
Stage 5 is due to start in Congleton and Finish in Warrington, LOADS of places for us to go watch it again :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

The Congleton to Tatton Park stage a few years ago was a great day out, capped by local boy Ian Stannard monstering the stage win.

Yeah - the Strava times on Tatton Mile and into Tatton Park are nuts!
Seen him out a lot since he retired.
Quite distinctive with his orange bike and matching kit :+1:t3:

You’ll be watching it from your sofa, well possibly the highlights on TV, it’ll be during lockdown 5

I was looking at that last night. 1st time I cycled to watch it on Haytor with the club, 2nd time at Dartmeet. Both times were crazy if you had a car and wanted to park.
