Other option was ride to the kom at Strete and then quickly jump on and see them coming into Exeter.
But that applies to any day trying to park on hay tor pretty much, it has to be truly terrible weather and in school time to be able to park easily.

I’m kind of gutted though, the boys at work have been going mad betting on the horses this week. I said if they wanted a change check out MSR. Told them if I was a betting man I’d put some money on he who won (don’t want to spoil it for others)

Reinforces why I always use the safety lanyard, and on this occasion so was the movistar rider as well. Not sure I’d have been able to detach it, unloop the lanyard and get it in my back pocket quite as effectively as he did!

AY has a very unique cycling style hasn’t he? He is absolutely planted on the top of his bike, no upper body motion at all.
I was thinking that as well, but also it’s super weird that Simon is exactly the same. Did they both come up with the style together when they were little?!
Makes them easy to pick out on the footage though.

Glad you have put your finger on it. It’s been bugging me forever about why he looks a bit odd on the bike. I kept focussing on whether it was the sunglass/welding goggles
