I remember watching that, Beloki got well beat up?

Love him or hate him, Lance did well to stay upright across that gravel section!

Pog to attack from 100km out today?

Worth remembering that Armstrong wasn’t proven guilty because he never failed a test. The avalanche of circumstantial evidence became too much, and it was in his interests to confess - he thought he could take a stretch and then go again

Wasn’t his pissing off Landis his ultimate undoing?

And of course he was known to have failed at least one test, almost certainly two.

It wasn’t a house of cards, more death by a thousand cuts. Emma O’Reilly told her story in 2001 and was roundly mocked. The evidence was there, but UCI, ASO didn’t care. USADA and Landis set it off

When the Feds started investigating, the game was up.

No one was prepared to lie to a Federa investigation, so all of his team mates started singing like birds

It’s the frustration of just how many people knew and they were all manipulated and bullied to not say anything. Pat mcquaid, Phil Liggett, the notable 2 in very distinct positions of power and influence.

But you just have to spend a day watching the circus from the sidelines and realise why it all happens. If the entire house of cards comes tumbling down, there’s a lot of people out of a job and losing lifelong careers.

Three UAE riders to finish top ten.

Of course they’re all clean………Mauro Gianetti would never allow doping in his team………… oh wait. Saunier-Duval, Riccardo Rico, Juan Jose Cobo………

Nothing to see here….

FFS I sold Vinnegar and thought Pogacar would sit back today so didn’t pick him.

This Tour has been quite boring tbh. Utterly predictable mountain stages and few breakaway wins.

I know it’s a race, but I reckon Pog would help his popularity in the peloton if he let the break win from time to time. He didn’t need to win the stage today

I think they’ll ‘blame’ Soudal for dragging it along today, then Remco attacking.

Lots of counters to that from riders on Twitter. I get why but it’s not really exciting at the moment. To watch them take 1 min in less than half a km was ridiculous.

The other riders are probably hoping for a UAE contract - get paid a load of money to be in Pog’s C team when he decides he’s going for all 3 grand tours next year and needs a support team for each

This is more boring than the Froome Sky days, and up there with Lance / Discovery.
