What? That is reserved for tennis, cricket and footballs, a planet can’t be the same shape… makes no sense.

(Although its not rund unless 2 dimensional? )

Seems like G has confirmed his retirement at the end of the season.

Amazing career.

Amazing career and a lovely guy.

I was pleasantly surprised to see him in the mix for the GC at the Giro last year, even if he never looked like being a serious threat for the win.

I think G is hoping to finish with the Tour of Britain which this year finishes in Cardiff - that would be a great way to finish!

I wonder if we’ll see 3 guys again who were at the same school at the same time (different years though) and had such an impact on their sports on the world stage - G, Gareth Bale and Sam Warburton - all went to Whitchurch School in Cardiff.

Disco+ still getting pumped through to Chez-Doonhamer for the moment

Clásica Jaén was a treat to watch last night, Kwiato was probably a bit lucky McNulty punctured but great to see such a classy rider take the W.

UAE Tour, what an absolute, barren snooze-fest until the last 30secs…I see no beauty in sand or motorways.

Henrik, Filip and Jakob Ingebrigtsen?

Foreigners don’t count…… Especially those in the same sport of which there are many families that could be counted in a similar fashion including a few British and Irish ones.

And G, Bale and Warbs are all different sports and no genetic connections (unless their fathers are keeping quiet!)

But those streetlights, where you can ride in the cool of darkness …

That’s from the commentary, about the Most exciting thing he said.

Agree about motorways.

Sand can have its moments. These are some pics from the Al Adeid MTB duathlon last week

That ‘road’ would probably look pretty decent lit up at night though. Just a shame they didn’t hold the stage in the dark.

T100 did last year. :grinning:

I’m not sold  .

The Irish say they have 40 shades of green - or perhaps that was just Johnny Cash  . Do people living in a desert appreciate the different colours & granular qualities of the sand surrounding them?

Volta ao Algarve Stage 1 finish :person_facepalming:.

ETA turns out that was the very last race I saw on Disco+

Luckily it was just a farce. Riders doing 60kph on the spectator side of the barriers could have been so much worse.

Hats off to Marco Haller for being so composed in his interview at the end, passions must have been running high.

3 Ineos wins in 3 days though, eh?

Except stage result was cancelled. Hard on Ganna.
