Sadly only live on Sky which I don’t have although S4C has a deal to show highlights albeit with Welsh commentary so I’ll watch them instead.

A few accounts I followed on SM were quite clear that they’d not pay 30.99, but were posting during the Giro like I’d imagined it.

TNT only needs 22.5% subscribers to remain and be quids-in, but where did the 6 or 7% figure come from?

Spin Cycle podcast a few months ago.

They offered me 7 months half price which I was willing to pay, I will cancel pretty quickly when it goes to Ā£31. In the future I imagine I’ll subscribe from the classics to the end of the tour or something like that

I’m on that half price deal. I’ll probably continue as it’s something I enjoy… still a rip off.
My main gripe is I often have to help the Mrs bring the horses in from the fields just as the races get good. I used to just listen to the comms on my phone app with the screen off but they have disabled that functionality. My workaround is setting up a facebook message audio call with myself but it’s a bit of an extra faff. Also I’m getting adverts again!!

Dauphine highlights on ITV4.

If the first stage is anything to go by, should be a good week!

Easy to spot Remco with his gold bike, gold helmet, gold oakleys…

How, on earth, have Jonas and Pog done that on a sprint stage with Pog out sprinting VdP?

I didn’t see the stage, but the results sound like something from a post-Tour crit race

Maybe cycling turned enough corners to be back to a previous location.

Was it an uphill drag to the line?

Saw the result, didnt see the course profile.

It’s a ā€œCriteriumā€, and just like all ā€œCriteriumā€, the biggest names in the race go off the front with a bit to go, and the biggest name wins due to the obvious winner from the break screwing up some way. Bit surprised they didn’t let Bardet join them in the ā€œbreakā€ - maybe he’s gonna get one later.

Van der Poel broke his wrist 2 weeks ago, so it’s probably slowed him down a little.

Remcos performance in the TT was mastery.
Followed by his relative capitulation to both Pog and Vinegar. The Dauphine has been a cracking race and looks like TdF will continue on from here.

I was trying to find this thread yesterday when I said Pog forgot to take his vitamins.
Tbf its helped make me think he might be clean… or was that the point before storming the Tour?

There aren’t many TT km in the tour this year, maybe he hasn’t been riding his TT bike much.

Pog back to being Pog!

Interesting to see if he backs it up tomorrow on the hardest stage!

He’ll attack with 100km to go and win the stage by 5 minutes
